A couple, Ronnie and Sherron Bridges, have been living with a 1,134kg buffalo named Wild Thing in their home for 11 years. According to the couple, they have experienced no attacks, injuries, or threats from the animal.
Wild Thing has his own room in the house and joins the family for meals in the kitchen. The buffalo also watches movies and TV with the couple, reportedly enjoying fast-paced content.
The couple recalls that Wild Thing played a significant role in their wedding ceremony about a decade ago, serving as the best man.
About Buffalos ¶
Buffalos are often characterized as aggressive and energetic animals that can be easily provoked. However, the experience of Ronnie and Sherron Bridges challenges this notion, demonstrating that it is possible for humans and buffalos to coexist peacefully.
Ronnie, 60, and Sherron Bridges, 44, consider Wild Thing a part of their family. The 2,500lb buffalo eats his morning meals at the kitchen table and has become an integral part of the household.
