Paul Walker, best known for his role in the hit Fast and the Furious movies, died in a car accident in Valencia, California, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The L.A. County Sheriff's Department reported the crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 28300 block of Rye Canyon Loop. Deputies found the vehicle engulfed in flames upon arrival.
Walker was driving a new Porsche GT when the single-car accident happened. The car burst into flames. A friend of Walker's told a local newspaper that they used fire extinguishers in an attempt to fight the blaze, but were unsuccessful.
