President Uhuru Kenyatta expressed frustration over the hardline stance of doctors in salary negotiations. Speaking at the Devolution Conference, he stated that the government's offer to doctors exceeds what their counterparts in private hospitals earn.
Uhuru claimed that the government would not be swayed by what he termed as blackmail from doctors, citing their limited working hours.
