Ameru Festival Brings Culture and Entertainment to Meru County

The inaugural Ameru Festival took place on Saturday, 26th March, and Sunday, 27th March, at Meru Technical Institute, offering a glimpse into the culture of the Ameru people and catering to various entertainment needs.

The two-day event featured performances by notable artists, including Willy Paul, Nameless, Jaguar, Sleepy David, Chipukeezy, Butita, Awinja, Karis, Rib Crackers, Kajairo, Professor Hamo, Kawira, and Shix Kapyenga, with Churchill Show’s MC Jessy as the main host.

DJs Kalonje, Pierra Makena, and Joe Mfalme provided music for attendees to enjoy. Niaje and Koome Gitobu captured moments from the festival.

Tickets were available for purchase using M-Pesa Till No 569930 or directly at Tuskys, Nakumatt Meru, and Budget Stores Meru, with prices ranging from Sh500 for regular tickets to Sh2500 for VVIP tickets.

Gates opened at 2:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am on Sunday. The event promised an exciting experience for all who attended.
