The 2015 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards, held at Eko Hotel in Lagos, saw Nigeria dominate the ceremony, with Kenya taking home two awards.
The TV series Shuga won the Best Television Series award. In the Best Indigenous Language – Swahili category, Veve emerged as the winner.
Veve, produced by Sarika, who also produced Nairobi Half Life, had been nominated in three categories: Best Art Director, Best Indigenous Swahili, and Best Video Editor.
