On the second anniversary of the passing of her ex-husband Ivan Semwanga and mother, Zari Hassan has expressed her heartfelt condolences through a touching tribute.
Both Ivan and Zari's mother passed away in May and July 2017, respectively.
As she celebrated their death anniversaries, Zari showered them with love in death, expressing her gratitude for the time they spent together.
"Today it's two years since you passed on, but pain feels fresh like it only happened yesterday. I'll never get used to the fact that you're no longer here, although I feel your spirit all around me. Continue to sleep well, my queen," Zari wrote in her tribute.
She also expressed her gratitude to her mother, saying, "I know you watch over us. We love you and miss you, ma."
Despite their passing, Zari's children have continued to praise Ivan, with one of them, Quincy, paying tribute to him in a touching message.
"It hurts to think that you're not here anymore. Although I can't help but smile with tears in my eyes to think of how we cherished each and every moment of our lives together when you were alive. Happy father's day in heaven, Dad. I love you," Quincy wrote.
