Jasmine Jordan, the daughter of renowned basketball player Michael Jordan, recently shared a photo with her girlfriend on social media.
According to the U.K.’s Pink News, Jasmine Jordan posted a photo of herself with her girlfriend, Tyson-Thomas, on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: "This Little Closet Is Holding Me Back."
When questioned by her followers about the meaning behind the post, she confirmed that she is gay.
Prior to publicly disclosing her sexual orientation, Jasmine Jordan wrote: "Until love, trust, honesty, respect, loyalty, commitment, genuine happiness and other characteristics or aspects I want in a relationship is defined by one gender then and only then will I discuss my sexual preference."
Jasmine Jordan’s girlfriend, Tyson-Thomas, is a former Syracuse Orange basketball player. Jasmine, 20, is a junior at Syracuse University, majoring in sports management.
Michael Jordan has two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, both of whom are basketball players, with his ex-wife Juanita.
