The live-action remake of Cinderella by Walt Disney Co. debuted strongly over the weekend, with $70.1 million in sales, following the success of Maleficent and Frozen.

In Nairobi, radio station XFM partnered with VLCC to find a local Cinderella. They invited women to try on a replica slipper, with one winner emerging after finding the perfect fit.

According to the promotion, the winner would be treated like a princess for the day. VLCC took on the task of transforming the winner into a princess, reminiscent of the classic fairy tale.
