Tony Gachoka, a former aide to Raila Odinga, has reached out to the CORD leader for assistance in paying a Kshs 2 million court fine.

Gachoka, who was recently held at the Industrial Area remand prison, contacted Odinga through his wife's sister, a close friend of the Odinga family, after attempts to reach State House were unsuccessful.

Gachoka has been critical of Raila Odinga in the past, similar to other figures like Miguna Miguna and Ngunjiri Wambugu, who have also been vocal critics.

Aides to Odinga declined to comment on the matter, but noted that Odinga is known for being forgiving and may assist Gachoka without conditions.
