A job applicant has shared their story of lying about having a degree in a job application, and now faces a difficult decision after getting shortlisted for the position.
According to Philip Mwendwa, who contacted Career Point Kenya via email, he has been struggling to find a job due to not meeting the degree requirement, despite having relevant experience as a Procurement Officer with an internship under his belt.
Philip Mwendwa explained,
"As a Procurement Officer with just an internship under my experience, I have come across hundreds of jobs with a degree requirement and the only thing that holds me back is that I am only a diploma holder. That was until recently,"
