Media personality Janet Mbugua Ndichu is expecting a child. As her due date approaches, she recently celebrated with a baby shower surrounded by friends and family.
In many African communities, a baby is considered a blessing to the entire community, not just the parents. Therefore, a baby shower is a common way to welcome the upcoming arrival of a child. At the event, Janet was showered with gifts, encouragement, and advice from the attending ladies.
Janet expressed her gratitude to the guests on social media, saying:

Fellow Citizen presenter Anne Kiguta was also in attendance. Janet wore a flowing maternity dress that accentuated her baby bump.
