A matatu was burnt by angry boda boda operators on Saturday afternoon after it allegedly knocked down and killed one of their colleagues along Langata Road.
The matatu, belonging to Ongata Line Sacco and operating on the City Centre-Ongata Rongai route, was set on fire opposite Uhuru Gardens.
The vehicle, identified as '007', was headed to the city center when the accident occurred, causing a traffic snarl-up on the busy road.
This incident comes four months after another matatu from the same route was involved in an accident that resulted in the deaths of four passengers.
