After weeks of speculation, Geoffrey Mwaura’s next destination has been revealed.
As reported earlier this month by other sources, Jeff Koinange would be joining TV, and this has now been confirmed.
According to a report by Nairobi Wire, Jeff Koinange Live Returns This Month on This Channel.
Despite controversy surrounding him, SK Macharia appears to have faith in Jeff to attract more viewers. Although TV remains the most-watched TV station in Kenya, it continues to lose viewers to streaming services like Netflix and DVDs.
The content on local TV stations, including TV, is not enticing enough, especially for a younger audience. The choice between local shows like Inspekta Mwala and international shows like Designated Survivor makes it clear what many will prefer.
However, individuals like Jeff possess the qualities needed to attract viewers, which may have influenced Media’s decision to hire him despite his flaws.
Jeff Koinange left KTN in November last year after a controversial Nairobi gubernatorial debate. During the show, he struggled to control Miguna Miguna and Esther Passaris, leading to some jokes being exchanged.
As reported by Nairobi Wire, Jeff Koinange Quits KTN, Ends JKL.
Over the past few months, Jeff has been hinting at his return but did not disclose the station. He briefly hosted a show on Arise TV in Nigeria, leading to speculation about a permanent gig.
TV made the announcement on Twitter, posting a promo video featuring a bench and a fire extinguisher.

The promo video hints at the premiere of the revamped bench, potentially in late February or early March.
Miguna Miguna, who was involved in the controversy that led to Jeff’s departure from KTN, is likely to be a guest on the show. He was the first person to reveal Jeff’s next destination.
