The content on local TV stations, including TV, is not enticing enough, especially for a younger audience. The choice between local shows like Inspekta Mwala and international shows like Designated Survivor makes it clear what many will prefer.
However, individuals like Jeff possess the qualities needed to attract viewers, which may have influenced Media’s decision to hire him despite his flaws.
Jeff Koinange left KTN in November last year after a controversial Nairobi gubernatorial debate. During the show, he struggled to control Miguna Miguna and Esther Passaris, leading to some jokes being exchanged.
