Penelope Cruz has been named the sexiest woman in the world by Esquire magazine.
The 40-year-old Spanish actress is featured on the cover of the magazine in a plunging black bathing suit. She takes over the title from fellow actress Scarlett Johansson, who was crowned the winner in 2013.
Cruz, who has two children, is the latest recipient of the 'sexiest woman alive' title.
