Collins Injera will lead the national sevens team as captain in the upcoming HSBC IRB World Series rounds in the USA and New Zealand.
Injera's appointment follows the injury of Andrew Amonde, and he will be joined by his brother Humphrey Kayange, Oscar Ouma, and Dennis Ombachi, who also make their return to the team.
Head coach Paul Treu selected the 12-man team from a pool of over 20 core players, giving debuts and recalls to younger talents, including Strathmore's Tonny Owuor and Michael Agevi, who first debuted for Kenya in 2011.
