On August 1, 2019, the Miss England beauty contest will hold its final in Newcastle, with 55 contestants vying for the crown, including Tamara Rashford, half-sister of Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
According to a report, Tamara, a 22-year-old marketing and communications assistant, shares the same father, Robert, with the Man United forward.
Speaking to the UK Sun, Tamara emphasized that the competition is not just about looks, but also about charity fundraising and other activities.
"I think this competition can be underestimated by so many people who think it is just a typical beauty pageant that is all about looks," she said.
"This is definitely not the case and this is proven through the variety in the rounds such as the charity fundraising, sports round, talent round, Miss Eco and bare face top model just to name a few," she continued.
Tamara has been committed to charity work, supporting organizations like The Chronicle’s Sunshine Fund, Hope Against Cancer, and Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group.
She graduated from the University of Salford with a First in International Event Management.
