According to sources close to Anne Kiguta, the couple broke up before the planned wedding date in February 2014. It was alleged that Anne Kiguta ended the relationship after discovering Steve Ngunyi was cheating on her with another woman. However, some blogs claimed that Steve Ngunyi only wanted a sexual relationship.
Steve Ngunyi has since moved on and gotten married, while Anne Kiguta remains single. Before her relationship with Steve Ngunyi, Anne Kiguta was in an abusive relationship that resulted in the birth of her daughter, Wairimu.
