A luxury hotel in Nairobi is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Main Responsibilities: ¶
- Handle customer service functions by responding to employee requests and questions.
- Conduct benefits enrollment for new employees.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Submit online investigation requests and assist with new employee background checks.
- Reconcile benefits statements.
- Perform payroll and benefit-related reconciliations to the General Ledger and other accounts.
- Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommend corrective actions.
- Update the HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and process paperwork.
- Assist with processing terminations.
- Perform clerical functions such as making photocopies and faxing documents.
- File papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assist with or prepare correspondence.
Requirements: ¶
- Possess a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or Communications.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Be a self-starter with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Be young, enthusiastic, and computer-literate.
- Be able to go the extra mile to achieve results.
- Be well-groomed, well-spoken, and presentable.
