Bumula Girls High School in Bungoma county was closed after students staged a demonstration, calling for the presence of a priest to perform an exorcism.

According to the students, they have been experiencing fear due to alleged demonic invasions. The students reported seeing strange occurrences at night and finding large amounts of cash scattered around the school compound during the day without any apparent source.

The demonstration took place on Monday, prompting the school's closure. The students had demanded that a priest be called to exorcise the alleged demons, allowing classes to resume.
