A supplementary budget has been passed by members of the Kiambu county assembly, which includes the allocation of funds to purchase vehicles for each member.

The plan is to acquire 75 vehicles, pending the governor's approval of the budget into law.

According to Dominic Gicheru, chairman of the Kiambu county public service board, the vehicles are intended to enhance service delivery, particularly in the more remote areas of the county.
