Kenyan athlete David Rudisha and his wife, Lizzy Naanyu, have welcomed a baby girl, born on Tuesday.
Rudisha, the current Olympic champion, shared the news on Twitter, writing, "The long awaited queen has arrived today. I am proud father…..thanks to God both the mother & the child are ok!!!!"
This is the couple's second child, and they have been married for five years.
Rudisha had recently won the top prize at the 800 meters final at the IAAF World Athletics Championships.
