A blog post by Cyprian Nyakundi has made several allegations against Safaricom's CEO Bob Collymore, including claims that he is a foreigner who has engaged in fraudulent activities and broken marriages.
According to the post, Collymore is not a Kenyan but rather a descendant of slaves from the island of Guyana. The post also claims that he has no interest in promoting Kenyan sports or culture, instead focusing on his own preferences such as jazz music.
The blogger further alleges that Collymore has been involved in several questionable projects, including a CCTV camera project in Nairobi that was single-sourced to him and has been found not to be working. Additionally, the post claims that Collymore initiated the Kenyans4Kenya project, which ended up being a pyramid scheme for buying condemned maize.
Collymore is also accused of encouraging Kenyans to raise money for a hospital that was never built and of setting up a portal where desperate Kenyans could submit their ideas, only to have them stolen by him.
The post concludes by stating that Collymore does not care about Kenya or its people and is only interested in making a profit.
