Johnson Ununga, a Luo man, gained attention on Valentine’s Day for his unusual approach to finding a wife.

Ununga spent Ksh 3500 to print 200 posters announcing his search for a partner, specifying the qualities he desired. Single mothers were among the first to be disqualified.

He hired young men to plaster the posters across the area at an additional cost of Ksh 1000, marking the beginning of his quest.

In an earlier conversation with the Nairobian, Ununga mentioned receiving 500 calls from various individuals, and he had commenced the vetting process.

Radio presenter Alex Mwakideu announced on Instagram that Ununga’s search may have ended after finding a match in 25-year-old Imelda from Kisumu.

The recovered account cited reporting by Ghafla.
