Teen pregnancy can be a challenging and potentially life-altering experience, often leading to difficulties with family and loved ones. Desperation may follow, causing the individual's life to take a negative turn if they do not receive adequate support.

While many victims of teen pregnancy may struggle with long-term consequences, NTV anchor Victoria Rubadiri has spoken publicly about her own experience. In a recent interview with Nairobi News, Rubadiri shared that she lost her virginity at 17 and became pregnant at 18.

Rubadiri recalled the fear and difficulty of discovering her pregnancy, particularly when it came to informing her parents. She stated,

"It was a scary experience to find out I was pregnant, and the hardest part was to let my parents know since I never wanted them to go through that. I felt I had no choice but to terminate the pregnancy."

However, Rubadiri chose to view her situation as an opportunity for growth and a chance to help others. She has spoken at churches and institutions, sharing her story to encourage young people who may be facing similar challenges.

Rubadiri explained,

"I have been severally invited to speak in churches and institutions where I always share my story to encourage a young person whose life has taken an unexpected turn."
