The Supreme Court has ruled that Kenyan teachers should receive new salaries as per an earlier court decision.
Although the ruling is final, the government and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) have asked teachers to allow them time to find a way to fund the increased payments.
If the decision is implemented, the salary scales for teachers will be adjusted accordingly.
