A 46-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at Kobuya location, Karachuonyo Sub-County.
Stephen Goya’s body was found hanging from a tree outside his home in Kolage village by his wife when she went to tell him that food was ready.
His wife explained that she came home late in the afternoon from church and found her husband seated under a mango tree deep in thought.
She went inside and prepared something for him to eat but when she came out to call him, she found his lifeless body dangling from the tree.
Jacob Okwaro, a neighbour, said that Goya had a quarrel with his wife over a woman the previous day and that may have pushed him to suicide.
His body was taken to Nyadero Hospital mortuary.
