Jackie Nyaminde, popularly known as Wilbroda, a renowned actress in the local TV series Papa Shirandula, has shared her thoughts on her career, family life, and being a single mother.

In an interview on NTV’s weekly talk show #TheTrend, Nyaminde expressed her pride in being a single mother to her 5-year-old son, Zulani. "I am a very proud single mother to my son and we relate very well. Actually, I talk to him like a grown-up," she said.

Wilbroda, known for her comedic role and broken Kiswahili in Papa Shirandula, credits her grandmother as an inspiration for her acting style. "In the Papa Shirandula show, I partially reenact how my grandmother used to talk and even walk. Even in her death, I owe her all this success," she explained.

Besides her acting career, Wilbroda has also ventured into movie production, with her recent project receiving positive reviews. She emphasized the importance of self-improvement, stating that she watches her own performances to identify areas for growth.

Despite acknowledging the challenges faced by women in the industry, Wilbroda remains determined and optimistic about her future in the entertainment sector. "There are so many challenges in the industry, especially if you are a woman, but I believe most of us are up to the task," she noted.
