President Uhuru Kenyatta emphasized the importance of greater inter-connectivity within the East African region, stating that it would increase the ability of member states to trade with each other.
According to President Kenyatta, improved infrastructure would also enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of the economies and countries in the region.
