On a recent evening, the residence of South Africa High Commissioner Ratubatsi Super Maloi in Runda, Nairobi, hosted a wine tasting event featuring Nederburg wines, a prominent South African brand. Guests were treated to various types of the wine, accompanied by entertainment from the Morogo wa Mwana, a traditional dance troupe from Botswana.
Nederburg winemaker Wilhelm Pienaar, along with High Commissioners Moloi of South Africa and John Moreti of Botswana, introduced the 56 Hundred range of wines. According to Pienaar, the wine is characterized as being
"rich, smooth and with a burst of fruity flavour"
