July 22, 2019 - The Kenyan Premier League transfer season is heating up as KPL clubs try to bolster their squads ahead of the new season.

AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia have been at the forefront of the transfer market, with both clubs experiencing a significant number of player exits and entrances.

Ingwe has been the latest club to make a major move, confirming the signing of seven players, including Malian striker Ismaillia Diarra, Burundian international Tresor Ndikumana, Ugandan shot stopper Benjamin Ochan, Rwandese midfielder Vincent Habamahoro, and three Kenyan players.

Ingwe's rivals Gor Mahia were the first to venture into the transfer market, prompted by the risk of losing their top players. They promoted three players from their youth team and signed five more players, including Tobias Otieno, Abdalla Shura, Elvis Ronack, Dennis Oalo, and Curtis Wekesa.

Other clubs, including Wazito FC and Bandari FC, have also been active in the transfer window, signing several players to strengthen their squads.
