A former Jubilee steering committee chairman, Noah Wekesa, has stated that Ugandans are being registered as voters in the Saboti and Endebes regions.
According to Wekesa, who spoke during a television program, Ugandans are being transported by lorries to register as voters in these areas.
"I come from the border and Ugandans are being brought by lorries to register as voters in Saboti and Endebes,"
he said.
This claim supports an earlier allegation made by CORD Leader Raila Odinga, who stated that the National Intelligence Service is registering voters from Uganda and Ethiopia to influence the outcome of the election.
Additionally, there were reports of a Jubilee MP being arrested alongside her bodyguards for allegedly registering Ugandans as voters.
In January 2016, Teso South MP Mary Emase evaded arrest after Ugandan police stormed a compound where she was allegedly registering Ugandans as voters.
Wekesa also mentioned that many Kenyans in the Western region have not registered to vote due to a lack of identification cards.
