A student from Moi University, identified as Beatrice Wangari from Muranga, claims she was infected with HIV during her freshman year.

According to her account, she was infected after being taken out for a drinking spree by a fellow student she met during freshers' night, where she was allegedly forced into non-consensual sex.

She recounts:

"I was infected in my first year. I joined Moi University with hopes and expectations of a brighter future. Upon my admission during the freshers' night, I met this dude who offered to take me out for a drinking spree. Since I was fresh from the village and I had passion to adventure and learn a lot, I naively accepted the offer.

Beatrice Wangari further states that she was taken to a club, given vodka, and later taken to a place called Comfy, where the alleged assault occurred.

She claims that after discovering she was HIV-positive, she decided to infect others, alleging that she has infected 104 men so far.

Her story highlights the serious issues of sexual assault and HIV infection, emphasizing the need for awareness and support for victims.
