Wasafi Festival 2019 got underway with performances by Wasafi artistes across the globe, but one notable absence was Harmonize, the WCB star. According to reports, the reason behind Harmonize's absence was a rift between him and his boss, Diamond.
However, Diamond has come out to refute these speculations, confirming that everything between him and Harmonize is fine.
During an interview, Diamond explained that the reason behind Harmonize's absence was due to the artiste's prior commitments. He stated that WCB artistes are often booked months in advance, making it difficult to get them together for the festival.
He further emphasized that it is not the place of Wasafi to cancel any of their artistes' performances just to have them part of the festival. Diamond stated, 'The Festival is for everyone, not only for WCB. You can find we were booked even months prior, so it means we will not be there sometimes.'
He also clarified that they cannot cancel anyone's show unless the artiste themselves cancels it. Diamond gave an example, saying, 'For example, in Mwanza, Mbosso will not be there, Rayvanny will also not be there. In other regions, even I won't be available.'
Despite Harmonize's absence, the Wasafi Festival 2019 continues to thrill fans with performances by other Wasafi artistes.
