Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is set to feature in a TV drama series about Syrian refugees, alongside actress Angelina Jolie.
The series, titled 'Hayat Koprusu', focuses on a Syrian family fleeing the civil war for Turkey. Director Eyup Dirlik stated that Ronaldo will make a cameo appearance in the series, which will also feature actors and actresses from around the world.
According to Dirlik, 'The series is about the plight of a Syrian refugee family who flees the war-torn country, and what they go through.' Filming is scheduled to begin in the first week of April, with the series expected to be released later this year.
Dirlik also mentioned that there will be appearances from notable figures, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Angelina Jolie, and Nancy Ajram.
