Kilimani Mums, a well-known Facebook page, has become a focal point of controversy as its administrators are now engaged in a serious dispute over control of the business.
Lawyer Magdalene Nzinza, who founded the page, has taken her co-administrator Purity Nduta to court. In a recent media advertisement, Nzinza served Nduta and another defendant, Irene Mwende, with a notice of the suit set to commence at the Milimani Commercial Court.
The cause of the sudden fallout between the administrators remains unclear, but the row has sparked significant interest within the popular women's group.
Kilimani Mums has gained a reputation as a hub for gossip and has attracted a large following, including some men who have joined using parody accounts. The page has also generated substantial revenue through advertisement deals, making it a lucrative venture for its administrators.
