Celebrated Kenyan Gospel artiste, Roy Smith Mwatia, popularly known as Rufftone, recently announced that he will be wedding his long time lover, Susan Mwaura, fondly known as Krystal.
Their wedding, which was scheduled to take place on 19th July at the Kenya Assemblies of God, Buruburu, has been postponed till July 26.
According to Rufftone, the ceremony was postponed due to logistical hiccups. However, he assured his fans and friends that the ceremony is still on.
Everything is intact, it's only that we had to do some logistical changes for the ceremony which forced us to push the event forward with at least one more week. There isn't any alarming reason for the postponement; it's just one week. Nothing major. If it was another one year that could have been something else.
Rufftone also expressed his feelings about the upcoming wedding, saying:
I am nervous and excited at the same time since this is a very big step I am making in my life. The feeling of becoming a family man with multiple responsibilities on him has brought even more happiness to me. As a couple, we are all prepared for this and we are happy as we take one of the major steps towards our future
The groom's men for the long-awaited wedding will include some of Rufftone's personal friends and siblings, including Harry G, Daddy Owen, Fidel Atondola, and Larry Mwatia aka Slejj. The invite-only reception event will be at the Boma Hotel in South C, Nairobi.
