After Argentina's Copa America heartbreak, Messi was trying to get over the disappointment by taking a prolonged summer holiday with his childhood partner Antonella Roccuzzo.
During his vacation, Messi was filmed playing with his son Thiago and three other children, including a blonde schoolboy, on the beach.
According to one of the boys, Messi's dad Jorge threw a ball to him and asked if he wanted to play with them, and then they played football with Thiago and Messi for 45 minutes.
As seen in the footage, Messi was in a relaxed mood, enjoying the kick-about with the young fans.
It's clear that Messi is making the most of his summer holiday ahead of the new season.
