A member of the Nairobi County Assembly was shot by unknown assailants in the Korogocho Ward area.
Maxwell Ochar, the MCA for Nairobi's Korogocho Ward, was shot once and left for dead in the early morning hours. He survived the attack and is receiving medical care at the Guru Nanak Hospital in critical condition.
Investigation Underway ¶
According to Starehe CID boss Kiberenge, the attackers fled the scene on a motorbike after the shooting. Police are currently investigating the incident, but the motives behind the attack remain unclear.
