Octopizzo, after a period of relative silence, responded to comments made by Abbas during an appearance on Larry Madowo's show, The Trend. Abbas referred to himself as a legend and implied that Octopizzo was more of a fan than a competitor.
In reaction, Octopizzo posted a message on Facebook, stating:
Unless you gat a tattoo of my name in yo tongue or lips Keep My Name Out Ya Mouth, sorry am not around, am overseas like the sailors, am in the rap Business not the Rap Industry So Pupa mob achia Fally.....ama ngoja nikirudi. Nimepeleka sheng majuuu Lazma wanitaje ndio waTrend... Now You know who's the trend Setter.
