A 57-year-old man from Siaya, Osmond Sambu Okero, claims to be the biological father of popular socialite Corazon Kwamboka. He has spoken out about how Corazon has brought shame to his family.
According to Osmond Sambu Okero, he spent all his savings on Corazon's education at the University of Nairobi, where she studied law. However, he claims that she has embarrassed him with her actions as a socialite.
Osmond Sambu Okero stated, "Trouble began when my daughter started being featured in newspapers and branded a socialite. I had 10 children, unfortunately, two died, and Kwamboka is the first born. She was born and bred in Kibos, Kisumu. I took her to Lwak Secondary School in Siaya. She was a very bright girl; who passed all her exams and was admitted to study law at the University of Nairobi,"
In 2011, Osmond Sambu Okero was informed that Corazon's photos were circulating on social media. When he confronted her, she claimed they were from a modeling job. Osmond Sambu Okero expressed his disappointment, stating, "I was so disappointed that she was half-dressed and I couldn’t believe that it was my daughter parading her body for all to see,"
Osmond Sambu Okero alleges that Corazon now lives a flashy lifestyle, which he believes is financed by a Nigerian man. He claims that she has abandoned him and no longer assists him financially. Osmond Sambu Okero wishes that Corazon would stop being a socialite and practice law instead, saying, "I wish my very bright girl could stop this socialite thing and practise law. She can be an amazing lawyer. I also realise she is over 18 and can’t make career choices for her. I pray for her every day."
