National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has stated that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will be arrested soon.
Duale advised Joho to relax and wait for the authorities to take action, saying that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy are not police officers and will not be the ones to arrest him.
The Garissa Township MP urged Joho not to fear the President or his Deputy, as they are not responsible for carrying out arrests.
Duale said,
Uhuru and Ruto do not arrest drug dealers, why is he panicking? Everyone will be dealt with by state agencies and people should not panic, Joho should relax as state agencies will come for him.
Joho has been in the headlines for the past three years due to his strong stance against the Jubilee administration and his loyalty to opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The governor has publicly criticized President Uhuru Kenyatta, which has not been well received by the President and his supporters.
