Akothee recently traveled to America to perform at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas, where she shared the stage with Jamaican singer Konshens.

After missing her flight, the Kenyan songstress was forced to spend three hours sleeping on the floor at McCarran International Airport.

Akothee described her experience on social media, saying, "Stayed at the airport from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm just because I missed my first flight, so I made my own bed switched off & slept. Hustle till haters ask if you are hiring #tucheze."

Akothee’s situation has raised questions about the benefits of owning a private jet, which would allow her to avoid the stress of commercial air travel.
