Women in Limuru, Kiambu County, staged a demonstration to protest their husbands' inability to impregnate them.
The women took to the streets with placards bearing messages expressing their frustration. One of them, Nancy Wangare, spoke to the media, saying that despite being married, they do not see the fruits of marriage due to their husbands' struggles with infertility.
According to the women, their husbands' consumption of alcohol has led to weakness in bed and low sperm count. They have threatened to look elsewhere for men who can make them pregnant, as they desire to have children.
The women have also called on willing men to visit the county and assist their husbands who have been unable to fulfill their marital duties.
