Controversial businessman Paul Kobia has been arrested and is being held at Kilimani Police station in Nairobi.
Kobia was taken into custody on Wednesday night, March 8, for allegedly abducting a West African businessman named Bachard Londole.
According to police, Kobia claimed that Londole owed him KSh 40 million and threatened him after visiting him at his Kindaruma home. A firearm was confiscated from Kobia after he allegedly assaulted the businessman and threatened him with a gun.
Londole is currently nursing injuries at Nairobi Women's hospital.
This is not the first time Kobia has made headlines. He was previously involved in a shooting incident on Limuru road and was also linked to the death of Fidel Odinga, the son of Raila Odinga, although he later denied any involvement.
