Comedian Njugush, known for his roles in The Real Househelps Of Kawangware and Hapa Kule comedy series, has spoken about the significant impact renowned actor and film director Abel Mutua has had on his career.
Njugush shared a photo of himself and Abel Mutua on social media, expressing his gratitude for the support he received from Mutua.
In the caption accompanying the photo, Njugush wrote:
Now this guy, where do I start? He first saw me act in college drama fest and he took my number. Three years later, he would call me and give me an extra role on Hapakule News, which later gave birth to The Real Househelps Of Kawangware. He's been a mentor, and one in whose steps I'm always trying to follow. He's a genius, I kid you not. He's the scriptwriter for both The Real Househelps Of Kawangware and Hapakule, just so you know. All that I am, all that I have, I owe it to him. He believed in me when no one else did, he made me who I am today. He's always concerned about my life, and I always ask him before getting into any deal. He's that much of a blessing to me. Every time he reminds me to always be humble and kind. I've come from far, and when I started, he would tell me, 'One day, Mang'ete, you'll be a star,' but that would be just that. Now I do believe, and I'm still not satisfied. Every time I pray, I always put him in my prayers, him and his family, a beautiful one, by the way, for God to give him a longer life. Thanks to God for this soul.
