KTN’s investigative journalist, Mohammed Ali, has criticized the Jubilee Government for its treatment of the Muslim community.
Moha cited the case of Baby Osinya, who was shot during a terror attack in a church at the Coast, and noted that the government provided assistance to Osinya, a non-Muslim.
In contrast, Baby Ali, a Muslim child who was caught in the crossfire during the Changamwe shooting and lost his legs, has not received similar aid from the government, according to Moha.
Allegations of Bias ¶
Moha questioned the lack of support for Baby Ali, suggesting that the government's response is influenced by the child's Muslim faith.
Where are the vocal passionate leaders and media houses that represented/supported and campaigned for Baby Osinya? Seems baby Ali and his family's core mistake is that they are Muslim.
Moha also criticized the media for its perceived bias in covering the two cases and called for sanctions against biased media outlets.
