Bogonko Bosire, a popular blogger, has been missing for months, fueling fears about his safety. According to Dennis Itumbi, he and some editors at Nation News attempted to investigate Bosire's disappearance.
Itumbi claims that a senior editor at Nation allegedly hindered their efforts by deleting a scheduled publication. Meanwhile, a shocking Facebook post appeared on Bosire's personal account, claiming that he had died. The post, allegedly made by an unknown person using Bosire's phone, stated:
...Bogonko died...And I know because I am posting from the phone he had....He became a loose mouth at the end and had to be terminated
The authenticity of the Facebook post and the circumstances surrounding Bosire's disappearance remain unclear.
