Drama unfolded in Kikuyu, at a location known as Gitaru, when four dead bodies were discovered in a Toyota Probox parked outside a popular garage.
According to eyewitness reports and the garage occupants, a man arrived during the morning hours of Wednesday, February 22nd, parked the car, and departed without speaking to anyone.
The vehicle remained there throughout the day until the evening when the garage occupants closed up shop and finally gave it their attention.
Upon taking a look inside, they were shocked to find four dead bodies arranged within the car: two in the back seat and two in the trunk.
This prompted them to raise an alarm, and the area chief was notified, who in turn alerted the police.
Kikuyu Police Chief Joseph Ongaya, in a statement to the Nation, indicated that the bodies had sustained head injuries suspected to be caused by blunt objects. The bodies lacked any form of identification.
Chief Ongaya also mentioned that they were searching for the man who had parked the vehicle.
