Classic FM presenter Tina Kaggia, known for her husky voice, recently gave birth to a baby girl, her second child with comedian JB Masanduku.
Although the baby arrived a month early, the delivery was successful, and Tina Kaggia has now shared her birth story and introduced her baby, Kaya, to her fans on social media.

Tina Kaggia explained that her due date was four weeks away when she went into labor. She described the unexpected turn of events, saying she was at work and then suddenly felt the urge to clean her house, specifically her balcony. As she changed into a pair of shorts she hadn't worn in eight months, she felt a gush of fluid and realized she was in labor.
She called her husband, and they rushed to the hospital, with the help of a friend who drove them and a red cross ambulance that cleared the traffic. At the hospital, she was told the baby was in distress and needed to be delivered immediately.

Tina Kaggia wrote about her experience, saying she did not want a cesarean section and luckily, the doctors had her records from her previous delivery. They performed a membrane sweep, and at 2:35 am, her baby girl, Kaya, was born, weighing 1.675 kg.
Kaya spent almost a month in the hospital, but Tina Kaggia said she was worth every penny spent on her care. Tina Kaggia also expressed her gratitude and love for her baby, calling her 'my strength'.
