The audition took place at the Hilton Hotel in Nairobi, where thousands of contestants showed up, including rapper Kanja and Mseto East Africa team member, Sameer Bry. Another socialite, Corazon Kwamboka, who had been speculated to be interested in the show, did not attend the auditions, citing academic commitments.
The Big Brother Africa show is scheduled to begin in September 2014 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
